New territory for our
telemetry studies:
I've joined a joint project between the
Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Microwave
Telemetry (manufacturers of all the transmitters
I've deployed over the years). We tagged three
adult males on Tangier Island and one (Woodie)
up near the Annapolis Bay Bridge. |
|
There were 9-10 pairs of
Ospreys on or near nests when we tagged Tango on
23 April. Some were already on eggs, others just
thinking about laying.
Anyone beside me think Tangier should be renamed
"Rotifer Island"? |
