27 March 2005. Bluebeard moved from central Cuba up to somewhere between Gardenas and Sta. Clara. He made this move on the 26th and spent the 27th in a holding pattern. Perhaps he was fishing to fuel up for the next, over-water leg of the trip, or perhaps he was waiting for favorable winds.
He has now flown 1852 mi. (2983 km) in 10 days. With the rest stop, his average miles per day is down below 200 to 185 (298 km/day).
