 26 March 2005.  He's back! After a nerve-wracking 24 hours with no signal, he appeared, risen like the Phoenix, just east of Camaquey, Cuba. 
     He has now flown 1674 mi. (2697 km) in 8 days, averaging 209 miles per day (337 km/day)! And he's more than half way home.
