3 Oct:   Bluebeard continued southwest on the 2nd and 3rd of October. The small cluster of points on 10/2 is at the John Kerr Reservoir, just north of the Roanoke Rapids along the VA-NC state line. We've had other birds stop here for a bite to eat on the way south.      Moving through NC, he flew right over the state capitol, Raleigh. Our last fix for him on this map is about 20 miles south of Fayetteville, NC.       The Osprey-ometer now reads:  726 mi (1170 km) in 8 days. He's averaging just over 90 miles/day.
