7 Oct: Bluebeard continued his move through Dixie in a hurry. He was a bit north of Charleston, SC, around 1PM on the 4th and arrived near Savannah, GA, late that day. His arrival at his location on the 6th near Lake Wales, southeast of Winter Haven, FL, was sometime on the 5th. After the night around Lake Wales, he moved on to the Everglades on the 6th. He migrated 753 miles (1211 km) in the five days shown on this map.
