30 Sept:   Bluebeard did not go via Hawk Mountain, but instead headed southwest and dodging Homeland Security's airspace surveillance just east of Washington, DC (the second location on this route), he made it to just north of Richmond, VA. late in the afternoon of the 30.       The Osprey-ometer now reads:  564 mi (909km) in 5 days. He's averaging 112 miles/day.
