	28 Aug - 4 Sep -- Conomo is the first bird of the year to make a move that looks like migration. On 28 Aug he flew down to the Hudson River, just north of New York City. He did this, of course, while his radio was off, so we don't know the details. But he has now settled down for about a week in the area.       Long-time visitors to the Osprey maps may remember all the way back to 2000 and 2001 when the adult female (HW) from one of our south shore Vineyard nests used to hang out here before migrating south (See the map for HW Pre-migration).      Conomo may well wait here for a while, or he may take off heading south as soon as the weather is favorable.
