Apr. 11 '07: Jaws is
heading north for his second return migration. Given the sporadic nature
of his transmitter, we don't know when he left Colombia, nor what route he
took--did he come back via Hispaniola, or go straight to Cuba, as
Bluebeard did in the fall of '05?.
We last left him in November of '06 on the western shores of the Gulf. It appears he spent the rest of the winter there--as best we can tell. Now we just have to hope his transmitter comes on a few times on his trip north. |
