	7 Sept: Della is off to a racing start on her migration. She left her nest area just south of Cape Henlopen, DE, on the 6th and was flying south along the coast just after noon when we had our last signal from her that day. We don't know how far she got on the 6th, but on the 7th she was aleady on the NC coast west of Cape Lookout, 301 miles (483 km) south of her nest!
