8 Sep -- Patience left
her natal area probably on the 4th, remarkably the same day that Claws left his
nest at Cape Henlopen, 20-some miles north. The weather conditions must
have been perfect for migration that day.
On the 5th, Patience was in NC, near Manteo on
the Outer Banks.
Both Patience and Claws were out over the
Atlantic on the 6th, and at one point less than 20 miles apart.
Due to user (me) error, we don't have data for
the 7th, so we don't know where she made landfall in Florida. We do know
that she was down in the Everglades on the 8th.
