Safely across the
Carribean. The last location for him on the 27th was at 5PM, so he made
most of the crossing to Hispaniola at night. His radio was off for most of
this time, so we don't know exactly where the made landfall. He did not
fly non-stop to the points on the map for 4/28, but probably rested as
soon as he got to shore--most likely at Cabo Beato (the southernmost point
of Hispaniola, where so many of our birds heading south take off from). He
has now clocked 767mi (1233km) in 4 days of migrating.
