4 Dec. 2006: Moshup is not following the path most taken, which would have brought him to the cape in the southern part of the D.R. and from there he would have headed south to South America. Our boy from Aquinnah seems to have other plans. He spent the night of the 16th in Haiti and then moved into the Dominican Republic on the 17th. He continued east until the 20th and then headed north to the coast on the 24th. He's still there as of 4 December.
     I have a feeling that Moshup is going to be like Homer, exploring a lot. The next question, of course, is whether he'll make the jump down to South America, or settle down on Hispaniola?

This is where Moshup has been hanging out for the first few days of December. The resolution on the image isn't very good, but when one zooms in, there are some agriculture fields obvious in the browner section of the photomosaic image, with some small rivers cutting through the area. It doesn't look very marshy, but Moshup seems to like it.
