12 Nov. 2006: Moshup
has left the country. He left Florida on the 10th, spend part of the 11th
on the north shore of Cuba east of Havanna, and then, sometime on the 11th
moved southeast through the mountainous spine of the island. Our
first location for him on 12 Nov. was very early, so he got there the day
before.
This location is just a bit east of the Zapata Swamps, where Conanicus (our RI bird from '05) is whiling away his adolescence. Details of his latest location below> |

Moshup spent the night of the 11th-12th near a small lake or reservoir in a well-cultivated mountain valley in central Cuba. The location marked with date and time is the most accurate of this group. Later on the 12th he moved a bit further southeast, but the next location is not terribly accurate. |
