Homer stayed put for
the first 4 days of February (1/30-2/4 on the map). He moved southwest a
few miles to a spot he's hunted before and stayed there until the 13th. On
the 14th we see him moving to a river he visited in late January, where he
spent the 15th and 16th. He then took off on another road trip. On the
17th he moved 112 mi. (181 km) to a river with a broad forested
floodplain, and then on the 18th he moved 114 mi. (184 km) east to what
appears to be a fairly large reservoir, before going south to the Orinoco
River. Our best location for him here is on a large island in the middle
of the river. On the 19th he moved up the Orinoco 73 mi. (118 km). He has
now traveled 5,200 miles since leaving home!
