25 Sept:  Tasha moved down from Vero Beach to Lake Okeechobee on the 22nd. At this point she was only about 10 miles from Jaws, her fellow traveler in this year's Osprey freshman class (juveniles).
She left for Cuba on the afternoon of the 23rd, passing over Cuba's coastal islands around 6PM. On the 24th she moved 190 miles (306km) to a point SW of Camaguey, where the BBC crew was.
At this point, Tasha has flown 1693 miles (2716 km) from her nest on Martha's Vineyard in two weeks, averaging 123 miles/day. The straight line distance from her current location to her nest is 1484 miles, so she's only had to add 234 miles to the trip to stay over land most of the way.
The last location on this map is at a large, shallow reservoir. The BBC crew, who arrived just hours after Tasha had moved south, report that the lake is full of dead tree snags festooned with Ospreys using the lake as a fly-through fast-food window on the route south.
