Weber

Weber 29 Jul-4 Sep 2013

Weber was a real stay-at-home. From Aug to 4 Sept, all but three of his locations were less than a mile (1.6 km) from his (Weber could be a female, but I'm sticking with our first call that it was a male) nest. The only points farther away than that are no more than 2.4 miles (3.9 km) or less from his nest.

Weber 6-15 Sep 2013

Weber took off on Sept 6th--the first of our young to really flip the "migration switch." The four young in the 2013 juvenile cohort that left their natal territories seemed to be migrating, but they then settled down and haven't really made a big push south.

As of the 15th, Weber had been in full migration, with no days off. He has flown about 1,310 miles (2,100 km).
